Meriden Motorcycle Megaride 2012 - 10 June 2012

See also the official Megaride website by clicking here.

Result of the last Megaride meeting:
    Charities: Emmaus and Macmillan.
    Venue: Queen’s Head
    Date: 10th June 2012
No “Jazz on the Lawn” this Rotary year, so we plan a “festival” atmosphere with a view to extending the length of the event, possibly into the evening. The field will open at 12 noon, the bikes are expected to arrive about 12:30pm. We plan more effective local publicity to encourage attendance of residents/general public not necessarily interested in bikes. The road in front of the Queen’s Head will be closed, there will be much more music and more stalls and attractions. Emmaus have offered to provide helpers for setting up and dismantling the field, erection of signs etc. in addition to provision of a ‘back-up’ van for the riders. With this help from Emmaus and the help of Laurence and Caroline from the Queen’s Head it should be a great event. Please put the date in your diaries.

Remember, e-mail the webmaster with information about any event you are organising. That way it gets the biggest publicity.
