This being a quiet month, there is not much to report. Don’t worry, there is plenty ahead to look forward to, just no new details yet.
Santa Sleigh and at Blooms
The Santa sleigh takings this year were a magnificent £3,330. It included the Santa Grotto at Blooms Garden Centre. More details are in the January newsletter.
There is a slide show of the pictures that John Wilson took for you to view on the “Photo Gallery” Page. If you see a picture of you and your family/friends, email the picture number to the webmaster (email address at the bottom of the page, just remove the spaces around the @ sign) and we will email you a copy of the picture.
Christmas Party and Panto 20 December 2011
Another Christmas party and another Panto has come and gone. You will see a few pictures in the January newsletter. Hopefully there will be a slide show in the Photo Gallery of the Panto. This may take a while to create as there are 125 photos and a video to choose from. Watch this space as they say.
Old Folks Party - 18 February 2012
Our next event is coming soon. Saturday 18 February is the date that we are holding our annual “Old Folks Party” at Fentham Hall, Hampton-in-Arden. We will be needing the effort of all our members to bring our guests to and from the venue. Make a note in your diary if you can provide transport and help on the night. Megaride - 10 June 2012
This will be our main fund-raiser for this Rotary year. Neville has set up the the committee and they are busy meeting to organise this major event. Make a date in your diary so you wont forget this important event. All our members input will be required to make this a successful event. More news on the Events page.
